As a result of the varied nature of his clientele and areas of focus he is able to help his clients navigate the complex environment of transactional finance and assist his clients in their preservation and growth of their wealth. Attorney Hernando prides himself in his extensive community and professional involvement. Several examples of said involvement are: • He has been a lecturer at City Life/Vide Urbana, a first-time home buyer community program; • He is currently appointed by the Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to the Governing Board of the Massachusetts Public Defenders Agency. Said agency is funded by the Massachusetts Legislature with a yearly budget of approximately $200 Million; • He was a past President of Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys and has held or currently holds various positions in the Massachusetts Bar Association including the Chairmanship of the Access to Justice Section Council; a Member of the House of Delegates and a Member of the Budget and Finance Committee. • He was a Board Member of the Hyde-Jackson Square Main Streets Project for over five years. Said project is a quasi-private/public agency tasked with revitalizing certain neighborhoods in the City of Boston.
